Sunday Dinner

Last night we made Turkish Burgers which were extremely good and pretty healthy which is a plus so thought I would share the recipe with you.

Here's the How To:

Turkish Burgers
Sauce:
4oz. Greek Yogurt
6 oz. Feta Cheese
2 tsp. fresh dill, chopped
1tsp. salt

Burgers:
1tsp. Oregano
1/2 tsp. Paprika
1lb. Lean Ground Turkey
1 Onion, chopped
1/4 cup Parsley
1 Egg
4 Pieces of Wheat Flatbread (pitas)
Sea Salt/Pepper

Cucumber Tomato Salsa:
Finely chop 2 tomatoes, 1 small seedless cucumber, onion, 1/2 parsley. Serve on top of burger.

Combine yogurt, feta, dill and salt and whip it up. Could throw it in a food processor so it's nice and creamy.  If sauce is too thick add more yogurt.

Combine the oregano, salt, paprika, parsley, meat, egg, onion all together. Make smaller round burgers and grill till warm not crispy.

Dip Flatbread into milk to add moisture and let that refrigerate for a few minutes.

Spread sauce onto pitas and fill your patty with the meat. Top with cucumber tomato salsa and bon appetite!
